Dr. Andy Ng is a Director of Oligonucleotide Drug Discovery at WuXi AppTec. Currently, he leads a team focused on helping pharma, biotech, academic labs and patients to speed up the development of effective and safe oligonucleotide drugs in various disease areas. Before joining WuXi AppTec, Andy worked for 8 years as Director of Preclinical Studies in a biotech company in Singapore/USA, where he played a key role in developing several RNA-targeted ASO and small molecule drug programs to PCC stage. Before that, he obtained his Ph.D. in Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering from Columbia University in 2011, and did his postdoctoral training at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) Singapore.
