Hai Wu, PhD, is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Immunology Division at ABclonal Technology, where he leads the strategic development of rabbit monoclonal antibodies. He spearheaded the transition of ABclonal’s portfolio from traditional polyclonal antibodies to recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies and established an R&D and management framework based on the principle that “Quality by Design,” strengthening capabilities across the full recombinant antibody development workflow.

Under this strategy, the company has grown into one of the leading developers and manufacturers of recombinant monoclonal antibodies, supported by a comprehensive technology platform. Its portfolio includes recombinant proteins, flow cytometry antibodies, IHC pathology antibodies, ELISA kits, CBA kits, research-grade antibodies that support research, diagnostics, and early-stage antibody drug discovery.

Previously, Dr. Wu co-founded Yurogen Biosystems, where he co-developed and commercialized the SMab® single B-cell antibody discovery platform. He earned his PhD in Genetics from the Department of Medical Genetics at University of Rochester.
