Emmanuelle Canet-Soulas is a professor of physiology at Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1), specializing in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular pathologies at the IRIS team of CarMeN laboratory CarMeN (Cardiovascular, Metabolism, Diabetology and Nutrition). Thanks to the IRIS preclinical platform Ixplora, the team proposes established preclinical models mimicking clinical situations to evaluate new therapeutic drugs or interventions. In particular, within the framework of the RHU Marvelous and the CMRO2 project, Emmanuelle Canet-Soulas has developed multimodal imaging for the exploration of ischemic stroke to better understand post-stroke functional recovery and to propose care tailored to each patient.
