Biography

Dr. Etsuo Yonemochi is a distinguished academic and leading authority in pharmaceutical engineering and physical chemistry with over 30 years of research experience in the field.

Holding a PhD from Chiba University, Dr. Yonemochi’s extensive research portfolio spans life sciences, pharmaceutical technology, and computer simulation, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical profiling and formulation design. His contributions have been recognized with numerous prestigious honors, including the Academic Award from The Japan Society of Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis and the Academic Award from The Society of Powder Technology, Japan, for his work in systematizing physicochemical property characterization. Beyond the laboratory, he holds significant leadership roles within the regulatory and professional community, serving as a committee member for the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) and as Chairperson for both the Japan Society of Pharmaceutical Machinery and Engineering and the Physicochemical Testing Methods Subcommittee for the Japanese Pharmacopoeia.
