Biography
Soumee Bhattacharya accomplished her doctoral research in Neurobiology at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology, Germany, in 2014, followed by postdoctoral research at Sorbonne University, Paris, before joining Iconeus in 2020. With over a decade of research experience, her work has focused on learning and memory, stress resilience, adaptive behavior, and cognition. She is a recipient of the prestigious Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship from the European Commission and the Hugo Junkers Prize for Innovative Projects from the German Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science, and Digitalization. Dr. Bhattacharya serves as the International Sales Manager for Preclinical NeuroImaging at Iconeus, a leading French company specializing in cutting-edge functional ultrasound imaging solutions for preclinical and clinical research. With her expertise and passion for neuroscience, she continues to drive advancements in neuroimaging, deepening our understanding of brain function and paving the way for novel therapeutic interventions.
