Dr. Tobias Beyer is the Chief Scientific Officer at Cytosurge with 20 years combined research experience in molecular and cell biology. He obtained his PhD in Cell Biology from the ETH Zurich. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the LTRI in Toronto, he returned to ETH Zurich as junior group leader in the groups of Prof. Wutz and Prof. Corn. Here, he combined his expertise in cell biology, cell signaling and embryonic stem cells with genome engineering using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology.

At Cytosurge, together with the CellEDIT team, Tobias used his background in genome engineering and cell biology to further establish the cell line engineering process using the FluidFM technology.
