Dr. Zhongyao Ma holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Ph.D. in Genetics and Developmental Biology from the University of Georgia, USA. His research focused on thymic epithelial cell reprogramming and developmental regulation.

In early 2021, Dr. Ma joined WuXi AppTec and assumed a position at the China Research and Development Center. He is responsible for expanding the application of DNA Encoded Library (DEL) technology across more discovery scenarios, as well as leading the peptide discovery platform and the target science platform.
