Ulrike Künzel is an Associate Principal Scientist in the Functional Genomics team at AstraZeneca and co-leading the joint MRC-AstraZeneca-University of Cambridge Functional Genomics Screening Laboratory (FGSL). She has experience in arrayed CRISPR screening for target identification and target validation projects across AstraZeneca’s portfolio. She is a cell biologist by training with an interest in applying CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing in the drug discovery process.
